HouseOnMaps.com is a website for anybody to post a notice with the purpose to Sell, Buy or Rent a room/housing property in Malaysia. It is simple, easy, and FREE. No registration is needed too.

HouseOnMaps utilizes the wonderful product produced by Google, GoogleMaps. By placing the pink-balloon marker on the map, user could precisely inform the interested party about the location of his/her housing property. Moreover, the interested party could search in the map for the location that he/she wishes to rent or buy a property.

It is easy and convenient to navigate through the map by clicking on the map with your mouse button and drag (holding your mouse button) it to the left or right to your desired location. You could also use the "+" sign to zoom in or the "-" sign to zoom out the map.

Tips :
For those who wants to post a house notice, always use this function before marking the location with the pink-balloon marker. This will allow viewer to locate the house property at the precise and accurate location.

After solving numerous problems that we have encountered during the process of uploading our codes to our web hosting's server, finally HouseOnMaps.com is launched for public to use.

About us

We are a group of 5 graduate students with something in common, "time to spare". Instead of hooking up with girls in a bar or hanging out at a kopitiam drinking and complaining about life, we decided to get together and build this web portal. The idea of "HouseOnMaps" came about while we were searching for a place to rent. We found that it is not easy to find a suitable home with the right price. We scoured the www, and tried contacting agents but couldn't manage to find what we wanted. We felt there is something lacking and we did what 5 people with something in common will naturally do.......just do it ourselves.

HouseOnMaps is, and will, remain a FREE website for people searching for accommodation or wanting to purchase their own property. It is designed to allow users to easily search and find exactly what they want with all the necessary features in, and the unnecessary out. A mash up with Google maps seems to be the perfect fit.

HouseOnMaps will be beneficial to agents/landlords too. We hope that HouseOnMaps will achieve it's objective. Our motto will be our reference point -
